The Eagle and Child is a warm and welcoming food-serving pub in Whitefield. With timber-cladding on the outside of the pub, you’ll get a feel-good factor from this inviting pub as soon as you step inside.
In the main lounge area there's plenty of dining space alongside high tables and corners if you're looking for a casual drink. To the left of the entrance is a snug area with bench seating, dining tables and an original fireplace. On the other side of the bar is more tables, alongside a dartboard and three Sports-showing TVs. Running along the back of the pub is a brilliant beer garden with streams of seating looking out onto the beautiful bowling green.
The fantastic open-sided bar stocks the full range of Joseph Holt beers and ales. From our award-winning Trailblazer Stout to the unwavering Joseph Holt Bitter. You can also get a wide variety of spirits, wines, as well as teas and a special Joseph Holt blend of sustainable coffee from Cafeology.
The kitchen at the Eagle and Child is open 7 days a week. We have a delicious menu to choose from with your pub favourites, sandwiches, fresh pizzas from the pizza oven, plus special offers on throughout the week.
There's always a reason to come down to the Eagle and Child. Whether it's to watch live sport on Sky & BT, eat with your family and friends or enjoy our evening entertainment with a drink - get yourself down to our pub quiz or watch some live music!
As an independent family brewer we are committed to safe and responsible drinking.
