The Railway

The Railway is a small and cosy tavern-like pub tucked away on Lapwing Lane, West Didsbury. Full of atmosphere and community spirit, the Railway has a number of smaller rooms, snug areas within the open-plan lounge area. The pub is a popular and friendly choice for all, even the dog.

The central wood-panelled bar serves a range of well-priced beers, lagers and cask ales on tap, plus a great selection of bottled beer, whiskeys and premium spirits. Teas and coffees are served throughout the day.

The Railway is a top place for live music where you can regularly check out up and coming bands on a monthly basis. It’s also great on match days with a number of large TVs showing Sky and TNT Sports. Don’t forget to join us for our pub quiz – relaunching on Tuesday 7th September.
