Morning Star

Situated on Manchester Road in Swinton, the Morning Star is a much-loved local pub and dining spot. While the red brick building dates back to 1890, the interior combines modern touches with its original charm. Outside, a spacious wraparound beer garden extends along the front and side, perfect for relaxing in the open air.

At the heart of the pub is the central bar, serving a variety of cask ales, refreshing lagers and bottled beers straight from our brewery. You’ll also find wines and premium spirits behind the bar. The food menu caters to all tastes, featuring classic pub favourites, curries, fresh salads, and a selection of vegan options. If you can’t decide on what to eat, choose our mix-and-match small plates for a tapas style munch.

The Morning Star also hosts plenty of entertainment, including a fortnightly pub quiz and lively karaoke nights at the weekend. Sports fans can enjoy all the big games live throughout the week, with Sky Sports and TNT Sports shown on large screens. The pub is also home to darts and dominoes teams, which only adds to the community feel.
