Horse & Jockey

9 The Green, Chorlton, Manchester, M21 9HS

Ideally located on Chorlton Green, the Horse and Jockey is a family-friendly, local pub with top beers and great food. The 500-year-old building is bustling with history, including our very own Bootleg microbrewery located in the base of the pub’s original tower brewery. Outside you’ll notice the flower-filled front terrace with heated, canopied tables while inside there’s a large central bar, snug, tap room and bar.

As you’d expect from a place that’s been a pub for 200 years, The Horse and Jockey has a fantastic selection of ales, craft beers and award-winning lagers, accompanied by a fully stocked wine and spirits list.

The Horse and Jockey also serves a fantastic food menu. You’ll find a range of starters, lighter bites, mains and desserts, including vegetarian and vegan friendly food options. Being an independent brewery, we’ve complemented a number of unique dishes with our own locally brewed beers.

There’s always something going on at the Horse and Jockey for everyone to enjoy – look out for farmer’s markets, craft fairs and other events. Oh and of course, the family dog is more than welcome in our pub.
