The Bridgewater Exchange in Terminal 2 of Manchester Airport is the place to get your holiday started!

With authentic design features throughout, the Bridgewater Exchange gives you the real pub experience with a difference – it’s here where you’ll be able to relax your way into your trip and get the holiday vibes going!

From breakfast to dinner, you’ll be able to take a seat and enjoy a great pub meal alongside a fantastic pint of lager or real ale brewed from the on-site microbrewery – the first airside brewery in the UK! From here you’ll be able to order a pint of specially brewed, airport only Bridgewater Ale. You won’t be short of beer choice here: the full length industrial bar has 36 keg beers – with our full lager range, Trailblazer Stout and Northern Hop – and 3 speciality cask ale pumps, including Joseph Holt Bitter. The pub also serves a range of soft drinks, wines, spirits, teas and coffees.

Throughout the Bridgewater Exchange you’ll notice features including wooden parquet flooring, ceramic tiling, exposed brickwork, stained glass and comfy green leather seating across a number of distinct areas. You’ll be able to choose your spot from high tables at the bar area to booth seating, dining tables, cosy sofas, armchairs, and quieter spots looking out onto the runway. To keep you on track, there are a number of departure screens around the pub.

This Manchester-inspired pub has plenty of nods to the great city and to the Joseph Holt Brewery, founded in Manchester back in 1849. As you enter the Bridgewater Exchange you’ll be greeted with a full beer barrel wall, showing some of Joseph Holt’s most famous beers both old and new – an ideal spot to grab a pre-holiday photo! There’s even a unique Manchester dartboard table.

You’ll also notice close attention to detail features such as bottle top tables on beer barrel legs, a historical Manchester wall, and oil paintings of all six generations of the Joseph Holt family.
