Deck the Holt’s – Our Christmas Ale

It’s that time of year again… and it’s available in our pubs now, a Christmas cracker of a brew, our special cask beer for the festive season.

`Deck the Holts` is a limited-edition ale which brings together Yuletide top notes of cloves, orange and cardamom in one zesty pint. It`s available at most of Joseph Holt`s 127 pubs, located across  Lancashire and the North West.

“Our pubs are wonderfully warm and cosy places to soak up the Christmas spirit,” said Phil Parkinson, head brewer at Joseph Holt. “And what better way to add to that enjoyment than enjoying Deck the Holts, a golden ale packed with spicey, citrusy flavours and which delivers a warming festive punch”.

Founded 175 years ago, our independent Manchester-based Joseph Holt brewery is woven into the fabric and traditions of the North West with venues, especially popular at Christmas time since many are located at the heart of local communities.

Adds Phil  “Although we have a longstanding tradition for brewing award-winning traditional beers, we always like to deliver a unique seasonal choice too. Deck the Holts gives our customers all the richness of a Holts beer  with a zingy nod to the true taste of Christmas.”
