Boothstown Royal British Legion Wins Club Mirror Awards
Manchester, UK – Joseph Holt Client Boothstown Royal British Legion Club has won the Club Mirror Awards in the category of “Community Club of the Year” for the second year.
The Worsley-based club, which has been operating since the early 50s, was entered into the awards last year in which they had won for the first time. Managed by Kenny and Janine Bailey since 2008, the club is a real part of the community. It is host to various sports events and is host to Scout and Guide teams, alongside many fundraising occasions. It is also a valued Joseph Holt customer building their portfolio of Joseph Holt Bitter, Smooth and World Gold Medal Winners Crystal and Diamond Lager since 2009.
The prestigious event took place at the Palace Hotel, Manchester on Thursday 20th November. Now in their 22nd year, the Club Awards highlight the breadth and depth of clubland – from sports and social clubs, to working men’s clubs and company clubs.
The annual event was a chance for the very best of the industry to take their place on the podium. Winning a Club Award not only provides recognition for clubs and club staff, but also shows customers and the wider community the professionalism demonstrated by clubs and individuals who really are at the top of their game.
The range of Club Award categories means that all the key sectors of the vibrant and ever-changing industry are included. No matter how big or small the club, the Club Awards provides the perfect platform to celebrate both individual and team success.
