To give you some insights into this beer, the Sixex is a traditional recipe brewed with Rich Crystal and Black Malts that gives it a very distinctive roasted flavour. The story to this beer's name came from the term SIXEX which derives from the 19th century practice of designating ales a number of X’s to describe their alcoholic strength. Mild might be X or XX, while the strongest ales would be designated XXXXX or XXXXXX.
So as you can imagine this special cask certainly packs a punch, so for the Real Players please enjoy and as for the budding beer drinkers, you've been warned.
