British current IBF welterweight titleholder Kell Brook will be jumping back down to welterweight after stepping up to middleweight last September to take on Gennady Golovkin. Brook who has had 25 Knock-outs in his career is looking fitter and more in shape than ever before in his fight for Saturday 27th May at Bramhall Lane in Sheffield, his hometown.

Brook added "The fans know what I’m about. I’ve gone from moving up to middleweight to fight Gennady Golovkin to coming back down to face one of the most dangerous welterweights out there. All I want to do is give the fans what they want – that’s what they deserve.".

Nicknamed "The Special One", Kell Brook will take on American challenger Errol Spence Jr, who holds a perfect 21-fight record, has been hailed as America's future in boxing and a star in the making. Spence Jr has worked his way up the IBF rankings in style, stopping Chris Algieri and Leonard Bundu in five and six rounds respectively, to take his KO rate to 86 per cent. The Texas-based southpaw, known as 'The Truth', will be boxing outside America for the first time since turning professional, but having fought at the London 2012 Olympics he is confident of taking the IBF strap back across the pond.

"I'm happy I'm finally getting an opportunity to accomplish a lifelong dream of becoming a world champion. I feel that this is one of the best and biggest fights in world boxing and I am 100 per cent focused and determined to bring the belt back home to the USA - on May 27 I will be more than ready.", said Spence.
