The Mill at Upton is a family pub restaurant situated on the outskirts of Chester, with superb transport links to the motorways and public transport links. The pub offers a fresh new menu that blends traditional home-cooked dishes with a wide selection of exquisite wines and award-winning cask beers to further enhance your dining and drinking experience. The family-friendly pub also works closely with Premier Inn, creating a great venue for both work and leisure in providing a warm friendly welcome every time.
The successful Line Chef will be passionate about food quality and standards within the business. You will prepare, cook and present meals to specification and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with hygiene regulations. A competitive rate of pay is dependant on each individual and experience. The role will include working 30+ hours per week which also includes evening and weekend work.
- You need to be self-motivated, an outgoing person that works well with others and has a real passion for great food.
- You have the ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast paced environment
- The ability to work flexibly according to the needs of the business
- You will have at least 1 years’ experience working in a commercial kitchen as a line chef
- You’ll need an eye for details and be able to work under pressure
- Minimum level 1 food hygiene
