Manchester Bee Glass
The idea of the Manchester worker bee as a symbol of the city dates back to the Industrial Revolution – factories were often referred to as beehives because workers were so industrious. In 1842 the bee was first officially incorporated into the Manchester coat of arms.
Almost 180 years later and we’ve created this glass to turn our golden beer into the immortal bee to pay tribute to our proud roots in the city.
The Manchester Bee Glass goes hand in hand with our most recent keg beer Northern Hop. If you’re in a Joseph Holt pub, your Northern Hop will be served in the Manchester Bee Glass.
You can even buy a 5L mini keg of Northern Hop and Manchester Bee Glass from our online Beer Shop and recreate your very own Northern experience at home. Great as a gift, for a celebration or a top notch weekend beer watching the football.
