Description

Pouring golden and clear with a crisp, sparkling head, Diamond is a refreshing premium lager. This pack contains 8 x 500ml bottles.

Using first-class ingredients and cold-conditioned for 21 days, this lager is light and malty with a touch of sweetness which combines with a welcome hoppy bitterness. The result is a gold standard, full flavoured beer to be drunk as an early afternoon appetiser or late evening finisher.

Diamond is embedded in lager folklore having been officially crowned the best premium lager in the world twice at the International Brewing Awards in 2013 and 2017. Diamond lager is also vegan friendly.

    I am not usually a lager drinker but thought I would try try the Diamond Lager for a change. I am glad I did! A light lager but with enough taste, a really pleasant drink. It is difficult just to have the one bottle. I find myself saying “I enjoyed that, shall I have another?” as I reach into the fridge for second bottle.

    I consider this lager to be part of the whole Manchester experience as this is what the locals drink. A lager that gives you the full flavour of it’s ingredients either on draft or bottles. A world beating lager made from the best ingredients that gives a taste like no other. It is easy to see how this lager won best in the world with it’s malt/hoppy taste. A lager worthy of a it’s name. Diamond.

    Fantastic stuff. I’ve missed draft Diamond during multiple lockdowns and this really scratches the itch. It’s one of my top 3 lagers of all time. If Holts sold this in minikegs to the public I’d order it every time.

    Diamond Lager is a really good bottled drink. Nice and crisp with a moreish flavour having just the one is out of the question.

    Bought the mixed bottles of diamond and crystal gold, very happy with the crystal gold which tasted nice and fresh with a fruity flavour, very similar to the pub draft but not as good ( less lively) the diamond nice taste but tasted different to the pub draft larger very flat with no head, I was expecting the bottled largers to taste even better than the draft which it wasn’t. But nice to have a drink at home. Definitely the crystal gold in bottles.
    You cannot beet the draft from the pub.

    To be honest the bottled diamond larger tasted different to the draft larger from the pub it had no head and less lively, It’s ok but expected it to be better in a bottle. But it’s nice to have a few at home for a change.
