Joseph Holt beer to take starring role at Irlam Live 2020
Joseph Holt’s award-winning ales will be the exclusive beer of choice at this summer’s Irlam Live Festival.
The iconic Manchester-based brewery has partnered up with organisers of the annual food, drink and music event to be sole beer supplier.
“We aim to keep everything local,” says Irlam Live co-organiser Darren Goulden. “Joseph Holt is a local brewery producing amazing, award-winning ales. And we love the bee design on their glasses which we use too. They were just the obvious choice.”
Irlam Live takes place from Friday 29th May to Sunday 31st May 2020, in a 5000 capacity outdoor arena within Prince’s Park, nine miles west of Manchester city centre.
Now in its fifth year, headline acts will include Sophie Ellis Bextor, Scouting For Girls, Martin Kemp, Hue & Cry, D:Ream, 911, Space and Andy Bennett from Ocean Colour Scene, Abs from 5ive and Phats and Small.
New for 2020 at Irlam Live
As well as Holts beers and a variety of top street food traders, there will be a brand new younger, family-friendly festival called Yo-Fest, which will run from 12-4pm on May 29th.
This will include both a Little Mix and Olly Murs tribute act, bubbleologists and a mini arcade. This will be followed on the same day by a Madchester Tribute Night with Noasis, The Smiths Ltd and The Courtbetweeners.
Brand new for Irlam Live 2020 is a second stage showcasing ‘grass roots’ bands and singers playing between the main stage acts.
