The Northgate is a warm and welcoming pub just on the outskirts of Oldham. Recognisable from its appearance on the BBC sitcom Scarborough, the Northgate is a truly local pub with bags of character. It has a cosy lounge area, and large games room where you can play pool or darts.
Bought from Boddingtons in 1992, the Northgate now serves the full range of Joseph Holt award winning ales and lagers, plus a great gin and rum menu, wines and premium spirits, there really is something for everyone at the Northgate.
There's plenty to get involved in at the Northgate. Come along on Monday evenings for free pool and jukebox or sign up for pool nights every Tuesday and Wednesday - it's free! We also have a DJ and karaoke every Friday night and Sky Sports and BT showing throughout the week on our TVs. We also have a large function room to rent out for parties and events.
