Abbey

Hard Lane, St Helens, Merseyside, WA10 6TL

Originally built in 1892, the Abbey is a modern, characterful family food pub at the heart of St Helens. Inside this distinctive, heritage-filled pub there’s plenty of space for dinning and enjoying an award-winning beer in stunning surroundings. Outside you’ll find a large beer garden with spacious seating and outdoor TVs to watch live sports.

With several open dining areas coming off the central bar, our wide-ranging food menu means you can choose from hearty pub classics, burgers and roasts, as well as salads, vegan options, and sandwiches. You can also treat yourself to a Full English as breakfast is served from 9 am daily.

The two bar areas serve an array of award-winning Joseph Holt lagers and cask ales, from Crystal Gold to Bitter. You can also find our bottled beer range, plus premium spirits, a fantastic gin and rum menu, and great wines.

With plenty of TVs around the pub, the Abbey is a great place to watch live sport throughout the week, including the football and rugby league on Sky and TNT Sports, with the pub having a big St Helens fan base with plenty of memorabilia to be seen on the walls.
