The Lychgate in Standish, Wigan Joins the Joseph Holt Estate
Joseph Holt have added another site to their ever expanding portfolio of pubs with the recent purchase of The Lychgate in Standish, Wigan. .
The Lychgate is an exciting addition to the growing Joseph Holt estate which also acquired four former Greene King sites at the back end of 2016, The Quadrant (Stretford), The Chesterway (Northwich), The Egerton Arms and Premier Inn (Chester) and The Railway Hotel (Buxton).
The Lychgate will remain open until May this year, when it will receive a £200,000 investments, with a view to reopening in July. The refurbished site will offer a full food menu serving classic pub favourites and will also include an extensive cask beer range, premium spirits and Joseph Holt award winning lagers.
Operations Manager Mark Norbury commented “We are delighted to welcome The Lychgate into the Community Division of Joseph Holt pubs, the division has gone from strength to strength and the new acquisition will contribute to our continued success.”
The Quadrant in Stretford will reopen after an extensive redevelopment on Friday 24th February.
The Chesterway, which is currently closed for refurbishment will be renamed The Clock Tower @ Northwich and reopen Monday 13th March. While the Egerton Arms and the Railway Hotel are currently open as usual and will close for full refurbishment with a view to be relaunched after investment during summer 2017.
These five new pubs will contribute to the continued growth and success of the company and promise exciting times ahead.
