Stock Compliance Auditor

A Stock & Compliance Auditor is required for a well-known independent family brewer. This friendly family brewer is well known in the Manchester area for producing a range of award winning beers and operating over 120 traditional pubs, restaurants and hotels within Greater Manchester and the surrounding area.

A salary of £21,000 to £23,000 is being offered, which is dependent on experience, plus company car and other benefits.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with good long-term development prospects.

The Role – Stock & Compliance Auditor

As a Stock & Compliance Auditor, you will be required to travel extensively within our pub and restaurant estate, carrying out company stock takes & financial audits, in line with company policy. You will have a good eye for detail, being able to accurately count stock & cash and have excellent written and verbal skills, producing reports to the required company standard.  

We are looking for a highly organised individual who can build relationships with house managers to aid and drive improvement within the business. The ideal person will have some stock taking/auditing experience; however this is not essential, as full training will be given. Some experience in the pub or restaurant sector would also be an advantage. We are happy to consider a current Deputy/Assistant Manager working in a food pub/restaurant.

Stock & Compliance Auditor - Key Responsibilities

  • Cash / Banking Compliance
  • HR Compliance (wage reviews)
  • Topic Audits (as and when the business requires)
  • Stock control

The Successful Candidate

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of management
  • Highly organised, motivated and results driven
  • Must be computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft office to include word and excel.
  • Positive attitude with a desire to learn
  • Enjoy working within a small friendly team
  • Full Clean Driving License – able to travel at short notice
