Line Chef for Lychgate, Wigan

We are currently looking for a mix of both full and part time line chefs to join one of our newly refurbished pubs situated in the Wigan Area (WN6). The pubs are known for their family value dining and traditional real ales from the Manchester brewery Joseph Holt.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly team, working within a great atmosphere where first class customer service is provided at all times and to progress your skills.

We are offering a competitive salary for the right candidates, with both full-time and part-time hours available. You will need to be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Due to expansion of the company, this would be an excellent opportunity for a Line Chef who wishes to progress up the career ladder within our company.

The Role Line Chef

The successful Line Chef will be passionate about food quality and standards within the business. You will prepare, cook and present meals to specification and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and compliance with hygiene regulations.

About You

  • You will have some experience as a line chef/commis Chef/Chef de Partie working in a busy food pub or restaurant or hotel
  • You will have some experience of working with fresh ingredients
  • You’ll need an eye for details and be able to work under pressure
  • As a Chef you will be enthusiastic about food and understand the importance of delighting the guest.
  • Minimum level 1 food hygiene.
